Hi CC'ers!
This is my first question... How can I get fondant shiny without the luster dust and other sprays and paints is there any other liquid I can paint on just to get the fondant shiny looking? Thanks in advance!!

You can spray it w/a fine mist of water.
You can rub it w/your hands - like lots, and lotsicon_smile.gif
You can put a bit of Crisco on your hands and rub it.

you can by those portable steamers they sell at target/walmart and pass it over the fondant covered cake as Buddy has done with his cakes on the challenges.

I too paint mine with vodka. It cleans all the powdered sugar off that I've used to roll it out & dries shiny.
