Hi CC!

I am trying to make a quilt for my puppy basket and I found a perfect one on here. The only thing is I am not sure how you do it. Would I glue these fondant patches on another big piece of fondant for make this? It doesn't seem that thick in the photo. Anyone know the secret?? Here is the photo I am referring to! Thanks a head of time!! thumbs_up.gificon_biggrin.gif

Yes you got it exactly. (And what a sweet cake!)

It's two layers of fondant--the patches are just laid on top--everything is rolled out fairly thin.

The bottom layer makes the border around the blanket--brush it with pearl dust to make it satiny like a satin trimmed blankie.

Walk you eyes around the edge of the blanket -- see the edges of the patches there in the front?
