I noticed that so many of you hand cut shapes and letters into your gum paste or fondant.

Not that I have a lot of experience. But, when I have in the past, I seem to get those little stretch marks on the sides where you can see the pulling.

Any recommendation on how you guys get it so clean?

Hi, I always use cutters for my shapes and letters. But if I need something defferent, then I trace it to a paper and cut the shape out and use that as a template to cut that shape from fondant. You can use an exacto knife for that. icon_smile.gif
