I was about to make MMF with my Kitchen Aid, but I don't have any shortening to grease the bowl. Do you think non-stick cooking spray will do the same job or will that just leave things nasty? Thanks in advance =]

I've never made it in my kitchen aid before. I've heard too many horror stories about MMF burning up the motors of others who have tried this. I also never grease my bowl.
I do use the non-stick spray when rolling it out, I would say, go for it! It works on my counter tops and rolling pin.

I use it all the time. Just make sure it is not "butter" flavored.
