I am making a birthday cake for a 2 year old that needs to feed 50 people. can anyone suggest what size pan/how many layers I should use for a two tiered round cake? I don't want to go overboard since it is a birthday cake. I wasn't sure how much smaller my top layer needs to be than my base layer. I am covering with fondant.
