I'm doing a carved sports car that will need to sit in my refrigerator for three days after it's done because I'm going to be out of town. I'm very nervous about not being here to do repairs if something goes wrong--either in the 'frig or in transport (it will travel about an hour). Who has a very stable but still yummy chocolate cake recipe?

I'm not sure about a great recipie, but here's a tip I like to use when carving cakes, as soon as the cake comes out of the oven, I cover it with wax paper and then put a baking sheet on top of it and press down to try to compress it alittle.. I feel like it makes the cake more dense.. lol.. it might not, but I feel like it's pretty sturdy for carving! .. Good luck!!

Try Chocolate WASC. It's super yummy and very durable.
