What do I use to color fondant? Does regular Wilton cake colors work? Help please!!!

Yep, you use your normal cake colors. Just knead them in.

I'm not sure what you mean by "cake" colors, but the Wilton Food Color Gel will work fine for fondant. If you have access to Americolor (or can order online), I prefer that, you need less color to get the desired effect and it is packaged in a dropper bottle which makes adding color so much neater and easier to control.

Yes, just make sure you don't use the regular food coloring. I know if you go to YouTube and search for fondant or coloring fondant, you can get a visual demo.

thank yall sooo much!! that helps out a lot!! I am not a cake decorator but I would LOVE to learn the ropes!! I love watching the food network competitions. I DVR them everyday! icon_smile.gif
