I have the Wilton edible markers and on the marker itself, it says to refridgerate after first use. Does it really matter? I'm thinking is that to help keep them from drying out? Thanx!

No they put that on their to cover their azzes legally, because once the food marker has touched food, the tip is then at risk to breed bacteria, so to prevent that they recommend refrigeration.
