I have some of that colored sugar stuff from Wilton. icon_redface.gificon_redface.gif Can't think what the real name of it is, but, how can I get it to stick to fondant? I have cut out heart shapes and want to paint them with the stuff. It is not the big crystals that you crunch up, but real fine. Any help is greatly appreciated!! icon_lol.gif The fondant is drying.

you can paint the pieces with piping gel, and then sprinkle the sugar on.(hopefully they're not attached to the cake yet - it will make it more difficult) If you want it "encrusted" you can "roll" the sticky side into a shallow dish of sugar.
Piping gel is available as a Wilton product, or I know there are recipes out there for making your own.

hope that helps!

Piping gel on its own will stay a little tacky - but if you've covered it with sugar, it shouldn't matter, the sticky parts will be covered with sugar.
