Hi Everyone,

I have been asked by a local chocolate shop to make a small wedding cake dummy, which they will use to accent their wedding favors display. Only problem is-- I've never done a dummy before!

Any tips, tricks, suggestions, instructions I should know about?

Thanks for any info! icon_smile.gif

Hi, you need to buy your dummies first. Here where you can buy them.

Then you can use water to damp the dummies and then cover them in fondant. If you are using buttercream, you can just do it straight away. The bottom tier should be stuck to the board securely. You can use royal icing to stick it.
