Ebay - You Just Never Know What You'll Find!

I have been covetting a book called "creating Life-like figures in polymer clay" by Katherine Dewey. She has 2 books under similar titles. The one book runs just below $20 and the other book runs at least $99 on half.com or whenever I see them on ebay. So, I've been watching them for about 6 months and bid on them, but never high because I just can't rationalize spending too much on a book. I saw the second book on ebay last week and put a bid on it - I figured I wouldn't win because there was still 4 days to go on bidding, but I went for it anyway. So, this book, plus a couple of other things with it (ball tool, clay and a model of how to do an ear) sat on ebay with no other bids for 4 days. I couldn't believe it, but I won this book that is at least $100 any other time I've seen it, for $19. How cool is that? So, my moral of my post - have patience and you, too, may get your covetted book!
sounds like you got that just in time, you must let us know how you like it.
what is the title of the book you won?
You know I saw that same book on Amazon -- I couldn't find it at the library though -- I like to see books before I buy them if at all possible. Can you tell us anything about it?
That is wonderful! I am addicted to ebay
add me to the club!
