We have a friend that wants us to do her wedding cake. She wants it to have a top tier that's cake for them to cut into and cupcakes to serve everyone.
We charge $2.00 for buttercream cupcakes and $3.00 per slice for cake. Should we continue to stick to that for putting together the invoice?

I charge the same price for buttercream cupcakes as I do "per serving" for wedding cake. Especially if the cupcakes have some kind of decoration on them. So if your wedding cake prices start at $3.00, I would charge $3.00 per cupcake.
Once you do one of these, you'll fully understand the need to charge your "per serving" price for cupcakes. Because,after all, each cupcake is a serving, and they are a PITA.
