In looking for someone local to print it for me, I called Carvel and the guy got me a little scared about working with them. That's when I knew I needed to call the cake experts at Cake Central...

If I need a cake for Saturday (early afternoon), when can I put the images on? I was planning on doing the decorating Friday night, but now I'm worried about the images bleeding or turning green. Is it safer to have them all done in black and white? If I decorate Friday night should I put it in the refrigerator or leave it out (my kitchen is on the cold side). What does the image adhere with - do I need to wet the back? (I am covering the cake with fondant).

Again, thank you so much for your help! icon_smile.gificon_smile.gif

I can't help w/the printing of the frosting sheet but........
I don't know what kind of info this guy gave you but I have never had any 'turn green' or bleed.
I have put them on fondant covered cakes. The do NOT go in the frig once decorated. It will be fine left out in a nice cool kitchen. Definitely it can be done on Fri for Sat use.
