Hi All,
I am making a horse head cake for my MIL for her birthday..In need of some help here. She wants a yellow cake with choclate buttercream icing since her horse is brown. any whooooo what kind of filling would go with that combo besides a choclate type filling? Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

I like to fill most of my cakes with either apricot puree or seedless raspberry jam, on either side of a layer of almond paste. YUM!

W/yellow cake/choco icing you have a few good choices:
vanilla or choco b'cream; raspberry; or bavarian creme are my suggestions.
