when doing a bead topper, how do you keep your beads/jewels from sliding down the wires. basically make the beads suspended in the middle of the wire? make sense???? i'm thinking about making one this weekend! THANKS! ruby

you use tiny little metal pieces called crimp beads.

you place them on the wire where you want the bead to sit and pinch them shut with some pliers, then place the bead. I normally add another crimp on the other side of the bead, but that is not really nessesary.

Alternatively you can hold the bead on the wire and then drop a drop of super glue onto the wire and wait a few seconds fot it to dry, but be warned you will probably glue your fingers to the wire/bead a million times icon_smile.gif
