Hi...For some reason, every time I fill my cake layers, when people cut it open, there is hardly any filling there...I think I am really packing it on, but, obviously, not...Is there any rule that I should follow, like three cups of filling per layer or something? I have read that it should be half of what your cake layer is, so, if it's two inches, you should have an inch of filling...I would be happy with a half an inch...Any ideas?

Dang, an inch of filling?? I like to see a thin line of filling between many layers (usually 4). Some people like their filling like it's pictured in the Whimsical Bakehouse but I don't.

The rule for you to follow is to put as much filling as you like between layers (and as much as a stiff dam will contain!). icon_smile.gif
