When a recipe calls for white chocolate, can you substitute equal amounts with white chocolate that you have around the house? for example, a leftover white chocolate Easter bunny or those white chocolate orange segments that you get at Christmas time? (assuming that you're O.K. with the orange flavoring).

Does this kind of chocolate substitute well?

Obviously, this would only be done for my own family. We are not terribly fond of white choc. E. bunnies (given by Grandmas). I was wondering what I can do with it rather than throw it out.

I am only looking for some advice.
