For those of you that make mini cakes...

What are the sizes...3" or 2"?
How tall are they?
Do you fill them like a cupcake, torte them then fill like a cake or nothing?
What sizes cupcake tier stands are used to fit 100 mini cakes?

Thanks is advance and Happy Holidays!!

it really depends on what you like, to give you an idea here are a couple minis that I've done........they are both 2" tall......but one is a 3" round and one is a 4" round...the look is different depending on the diameter.......the height is all a matter of preference.

well, I guess they don't look any different in the pics. but in person the 3" cake seemed like it was much taller than the other, but in reality they were the same height......with the 4" rounds (like the one w/ dots) I prefer to just do it as a 2" height because to me it looks exactlly like a standard round cake only TINY! I feel like it keeps everything to scale.
