Hi. Can I put all the ingredients (including meats, chicken etc) into the crock, leave it in the refrigerator overnight and then just plunk it into the cooker in the morning? Thanks in advance for your help.

Yep that's what we do if pressed for time. Just make sure not to put in the potatoes/carrots if you add your broth or water or else they'll get so mushy they fall apart.

Thats what I do all the time when I use my crock pot. I always wait about an hour before I add the potatos or carrots if Im cooking a roast. I like for it to fall apart but don't like having mushy vegtables.
