I was wondering how I could add colour to MMF? I am on holidays and I can't get the gel food colours here. Could I use the regular liquid kind or would that ruin the MMF? Is there something else that I could do?
Thanks!

Adding liquid coloring will put too much moisture into your MMF and it won't blend well. Liquid just doesn't incorporate. Paste works well. You might try ordering off of internet. Honestly with the cost of gas, postage doesn't seem so bad sometimes!

Gosh, perhaps you could just use Buttercream and forgo the fondant? or use food-safe color pens to highlight your color?

I always use the paste and add it to the melted MM before I add the PS

If you're going to use the liquid color maybe use that instead of some of the water in the recipe so it's not too sticky. Add it to the melted marshmallows before adding the sugar.

I agree with Mistygirl2008. If you have no other choice, replace the water/liquid with the coloring. Maybe if the color doesn't have to be so bright or deep it may work. Individual smaller batches may prove problematic.
