Good Morning--

I have three questions.

First, I borrowed a wonder mold pan to make a doll cake but the heating rod is missing.

Is there a home remedy, (other than a metal spoon that won't stand up or a flower nail) I can try that cook the cake in the middle?

Secondly, with regards to a punch bowl cake, does is it always necessary to put vanilla pudding in it?

Thanks in Advance

Yes, there's a home remedy, but it's a little complex and may need two people. icon_smile.gif

Soak 4 wooden clothespins so they're good and saturated.

Wrap a SQUEAKY CLEAN long nail or screw in foil.

Tie one length of kitchen twine just under the head of the nail. Then, tie another length so there are four 'tails'.

Using the wet clothespins, attach the four string tails to the top rim of the Wondermold, leaving the nail suspended in the center.

Of course, do this AFTER you've poured in the batter. thumbs_up.gif

YOu could also make a thin roll of foil and put it in the center. I contacted wilton and they sent me the rod for free when I lost mine.
