HEllo all creative cake decorators i have a challenge and need some help i am wonder how can you make pointessa flowers out of fondant need all the help i can get thats for the help
happy hoildays
I would assume you could use any size leaf or petal cutter and a ball tool on the edges. I did a search on You Tube and there is an instructional video on how to pipe one using a large leaf tip. If interested just go to You Tube and search for: How To Make A Poinsettia.
the two ways i know, is either with a ponsettia set, where each petal is done individually, or theres an easy way with using rose calyxes, thats still looks pretty good.
xx
i did look at the youtube and wasnt sure about it but i;; be creative lol thanks for all the input

Wow I just checked out that link and those are realy nice ,but there are no instructions telling how they turned out so good. I was just thinking that would look realy nice on a red velvet cake with white icing and some gold scroll work along the edges! ummmm I'll have to ask for instructions.
I also needed a quick tutorial for poinsettas, this is quite simple:
