Hi all,

I've seen quite a few people talking about using Viva paper towel to help smooth buttercream. I can't wait to try this tip. My question is: Does it have to be Viva or can another brand of paper towel be used?

Thanks!

Viva is soft and cloth-like without a textured pattern, so it leaves a blemish free crust when smoothed over a buttercream surface.

Thank you! Makes sense. I'm going to give it a go.

If you go to the Viva Web-site, they will give you coupons. I don't allow my Viva to be used by anybody else in the house. It is strictly for cakes.
