I am going to make oreo chocolate coating with chocolate transfer sheet on the top. The recipe is from Sugarshack website and I bought Vanilla(white) almond bark instead of candy melts.I am wondering if those almond bark and candy melt are same thing or not?
Thanks.

I use Almond bark all the time thinned with a wee bit of shortening. Works like a charm.

If I were overly concerned about the quality of the chocolate I would use a better brand of chocolate and paramount crystals.

The kids eat them so fast I don't think they taste them..lol

Hope this helps icon_smile.gif

Hi ValmommytoDanny. It is good to know about shorting. I will use a tiny bit too. Have you ever used any kind of extracts? Is it going to be seized if I use? I am too scared of using any extracts to any kind of chocolate.

When you use good quality chocolate, do you have to temper?
I am sorry to ask a you bunch of questions.
Thanks again.
