Cookies ladies PLEASE!!!
I'm new on cookies... I'm finding so hard do put a stick on my cookies before bake them!!! I really can't poke and insert in the middle 'cause
it destroy my cookies dough shape! So What I did last time, I just lay the cookie on top of the stick and after bake and cool them I kind of glue it with royal icing! But When the children gave their first bite...
everything was on the floor!!! ......(
How do I succeed with cookies on a stick for my bouquets???
Thanks
Mila

Few tips...

When I insert my stick, I "turn" or "twist" it in. I just don't shove it in the cookie. I also keep one hand on top of the cookie, kinda "holding" it together while I slide the stick in it.

I have also put my stick in right when the cookie comes out of the oven. You have to do this right away, while the cookie is still warm. Do the same thing... "twist" it in.

Give this a try and see if it helps...just twist them in with care and you should be fine.

I agree with McDonald. Also, I cut my cookies kind of thick when I am using a stick.
