I see Jem has 3 flower making full set. They are on Global Sugarart website . Has anyone brought these? I am getting into making flowers and I would like to purchase all the necessary cutters all at once. (christmas gift). Do you recommend these or something else to start making flowers? http://www.globalsugarart.com/cat.php?cid=745&s=15

I just finished a course in gumpaste flowers. I would not recommend buying a whole set like this until you learn what cutters you like. I found during the course that I did not like several of the cutters the instructor used and went with a different brand. I think in the end, once you really get going into gumpaste flowers you will find that the individual sets are really better. The ones I liked from class were PME. The reason why I liked them so much is because of the openness of the cutter, super easy to pop out the gumpaste if it happens to stick, and easy to turn over to rub and get a sharper cut of the flower edge. With JEM, you have to stick a fine cel stick into the tiny hole to pop out the flower.

This is just my experience with cutters that I thought I would share. I have not purchased the items you are inquiring about, so maybe someone else has a better opinion on them specifically.
