I am making a stacked snowman cake for a 1st birthday and I am not sure how I should make his arms. Any suggestions?

depending how big the snowman is, I would suggest dowels, or pretzal sticks (both coated in either royal, BC or fondant)

would love to see the pic when it is done!

Iv seen chocolate covered pretzels used... looked great and tasty. If you cake is on the bigger side, dowels would probably be a better choice.

I would probably use chocolate, although if it is too large they may crack...

Hi Emily,

I would try using white plastic 1/2 inch tubes. You could cover one end of the tube with fondant for the arm and hand, and then push the other end into the cake. If you have problems getting the fondant to stick to the tube apply a tiny bit of shortening, and then cover with fondant.
