I'm making a male figure that needs tight, curly hair - a short 'fro that is salt-and-pepper in color. I have tried many tools but can't really get the look I want. The closest texture so far is a tie between the hook side of velcro and the Kemper "squiggly wire clay tool", but neither has the depth I'm looking for. Any suggestions? I'll probably start with a black background to texture, then add silver dust to the textured surface for the aged-to-perfection look.
