With the world being like it is, I figure we can all enjoy a happy ending when they come...
Yesterday, our community had a 3 year old boy missing. He had been missing since 4pm Friday in below freezing temps. The last I heard in the search efforts, they were preparing the drag the nearby lake.
Last night, he was found safe and sound. All he said was, I'm tired, I'm hungry and I want to go home.

Talk about your Christmas miracles!!

I haven't heard any of the details on where he was or how on earth he stayed safe overnight...I did hear that there were some dogs missing with him, so they must have kept him warm.

It sure makes you reach over and give your own children a big hug doesn't it? icon_wink.gif

You made my day with that story. Just gave my two rugrats big hugs and kisses.

I got more details today...this little guy wandered out of the house while the babysitter wasn't looking and got lost in the woods, wearing regular clothes and jacket, no hat or mittens or anything. By the time the search parties could get started, it was already dark. Temps got to 17 F that night and he was lost in the woods with 2 dogs all night. They found him 20 hours later, PERFECTLY FINE. I still can't believe what a miracle it is.

I found this as I was reading the news. It has pics of the little boy, his family and the puppies that were with him keeping him warm.
