Hello! I am doing a test run making baby booties (regular size) and I'm having the hardest time with the "shoelaces". I'm using fondant and rolling it by hand after cutting into thin long strips. However, it keeps breaking........any suggestions? Thanks in advance!!!!!

how are you trying to attach it? I only needed strips that were a couple inches long. You're not trying to actually thread a long strip through the holes are you??
When I made these booties I just cut a strip that was like 3 or 4" long at the most and pinched the end of one side in my fingers and shoved it into the hole then took the other end and butted it up against the next hole, then the next piece of lace got pinched and went into the hole the other one should come out's all an illusion
