I had made a FBCT with extra icing to practice for a cake and put it in my deep freeze about a month ago. I have a cake to make tonight, is it safe to use it????????
Has it been covered or stored in something?? Normally when I do my FBCT, they aren't covered, since you do them on the back of a cookie sheet, etc.
If it has been covered or stored in a container, it should be o.k., but otherwise I would be a little scared to use it.

I would use it, but be aware that the flavor of the transfer could be a little bit off. It depends on the size of the transfer too, if it's small, the flavor won't be as noticable, but if it covers the whole top of the cake, it might be more noticable. I've frozen one for up to a week, but no longer. Good luck!!
Thanks for the advice!! It isn't that big, maybe just about the size of my hand? It is a Harley Logo, the rest will be fresh buttercream. It was stored, just sitting there on a cookie sheet in my deep freeze??????
