I want to make a snowflake cake for my office Christmas party. I know you can make RI snowflakes and I thought I had seen somewhere that someone made them out of candy melts. Does anyone have any info on this, re how, how far in advance can they be made, how to store, etc.

Any help will be appreciated. TIA

Vicky

Well to make them out of candy melts I would melt the chocolate, put it in a squeeze bottle with a coupler and plastic tip and place a drawing of the snowflake under wax paper. Trace the design with the chocolate and let set up. They should last as long as any other chocolate application and should be stored the same way. Hope that helps some! icon_biggrin.gif

There are numerous snowflake candy molds. I have several different shapes. Makes it way easy.
