What is the best buttercreme recipe for the cupcakes in a cupcake bouquet? I have this phobia that the icing will fall off... icon_surprised.gif

I personally use the tube of ready made butter cream that you purchase at walmart or michaels. just a helpful hint ..if you place your scewers in at an upward angle the cupcakes don't fall off and when you decorate your cupcakes let them crust a bit before placing them on...I have done quite a bit of bouquets and have not had any problems icon_biggrin.gif Good Luck!!

i just use a regular crusting buttercream, i have used an uncrusting, and everytime i tried to move a cc or adjust something, i got icing on my finger, etc. It was so frustrating! as the previous poster mentioned, use skewers, and put them at a slight upward angle. i have made a few, and never had a problem. they are actually VERY secure, never had any worries about cc's falling off

HTH!
