Hey all, I was just wondering what brands everyone thinks makes the best black and which makes the best edible silver or gold metallic.

Thanks for your responses!

Are you refering to paste colors? Are you using in b'cream or fondant or gp?

For paste/gels: AmeriColor is great for most.
For matalics: NuSilver and Real Gold. I've usually gotten mine from Bakery Crafts when I order other stuff so I can fill out the minimum requirement.

Since the site's been down, I haven't gotten to respond, or even see this response until now, so...

I want to paint on my fondant accents, but I have only tried the Wilton luster dusts and I don't think that they do that great of a job. I want it to be pretty realistic looking silver and gold especially. Wilton's only seems to make it sparkle a little, but with minimal color.
