How Do I Preserve/crystalize Real Flowers On A Cake
Decorating By Melissa-makes-cakes Updated 14 Nov 2008 , 8:23pm by JoAnnB
I have someone who wants flowers on their cake, like those pictured in the photo I attached. They are tulips but in order to keep them from opening up in the light, I would guess I would need to do something to them. I was wondering if anyone knows of a spray or other treatment or if you look at the picture and have any other thoughts, I would love to hear them. I am really not sure what was used to make the topper, so if anyone has any ideas on that, I would appreciate it. Thanks in advance
they could be silk or gumpaste. You could ask a florist, but you need to be sure anything that touches the cake is food-safe.
