I've been looking for a tutorial thread that explains the stack of book cakes--but I never seem to have much luck when I do the searches.

I need to make a really great cake for my DH. He passed the Bar Exam this summer, and is to be sworn in later this month by a local judge. We are having refreshments afterward--and my in-laws will be attending (very critical) as well as some "important-about-town" people. I would really like to make a good impression (and not embarrass my DH).

Any help or thoughts would be greatly appreciated! (I'm also having surgery this month, which adds to the pressure . . . . I know, bad timing!) icon_eek.gif

Have you tried Youtube? You could look at the pictures on here and PM the maker.
