Can somebody explain the difference between these two frostings? I've made the SMBC before a ton of times, but never the IMBC, so I was just wondering if there was a difference icon_smile.gif

Same ingredients, different preparation. For the IMBC, you cook a sugar syrup and add it to whipping whites (plus some sugar) instead of double-boiling them.
