For some reason, I keep getting a pop-up banner over the posts, and I can't read the whole thing--banner on left--on top of writing. I tried everything to close it to no avail. Does someone have a solution?? TIA

. . . I had trouble with this in the past, sometimes if I just reloaded the current page it would fix itself . . . if this doesn't work for you . . . fill out one of these . . . http://cakecentral.com/trouble.php . . . that way Jackie and Heath can try to make the necessary adjustments if it is in fact a problem originating with the site . . . http://cakecentral.com/trouble.php

there is the link again
I just realized you wouldn't
be able to see it . . .
'cause those nasty ads
would still be covering
what I wrote the first time
. . . I had the same problem
afew weeks back . . .

you will need to let Jackie and
Heath know by using that link

If you're using Firefox, there's an ad block and a flash block plug in you can download. Then you can right click on the ad, block it, and it disappears!

. . . these ads are not actually "pop ups" . . .
it is the banner ad at the far right of the
monitor that is not in the correct place . . .
as a result the "strip of ads" cover the
forum text so that you can not see all
of the words (unless you type like I am
right now so the strip doesn't cover it
up) . . . it might help if you change
browsers (but I am on Firefox and had
the same trouble afew weeks ago - when
they were busy working on the server) . . .

Mine does that at work because I don't have the window set to full screen. It is fine at home. Could that be it?
