I'm making a pumpkin cake on Thursday, but I don't have a bundt pan, only a tube pan. Before I go out and spend the money on a bundt pan, I was wondering if a tube pan would work just as well to make a pumpkin cake? Thanks!

why not, it wouldn't be the same shape as the bundt, won't have the ridges that resemble the ridges on a pumpkin but you can probably mimic them in the icing/fondant. I think the bundt pan in shorter and more round. I still think it ouwld be fine.

Good luck with your cake!
