Hey, can I use a blue frosting under MMF? I'm afraid the color will bleed through. Has anyone tried it?
Thanks,
Jodie

Generally speaking, if you use dark colours under white fondant, it will see through. Your cake won't come out that white-looking.
But this is in my experience and I am no expert.
I roll out my fondant quite thin, so that's perhaps why.

Sky blue isn't a dk coloricon_smile.gif There should be no problem.
Roll the fondant about 1/4" thick - that's the thickness of an ordinary cake circle.

I had some left over blue buttercream after I made my Beatles cake (see my pics) and used it on my first fondant cake (pics) and had absolutely no problem with it showing through.
