Okay...I'm getting ready to use the stand up cuddly bear pan and was going to use a box mix. Which one is the best. I don't have a pound cake...I have angel food. Can I use that mixed with a white mix. OR is the WASC dense enough for this pan??? Please help.

The denser the cake the better! But the real trick is to really not man handle the cake once it is done or you will get a crack right at the bears neck line. Gently remove it from the pan. But then put it back into the back of the pan until you are ready to frost. Cold cake will really help you keep his head on. Then do a light crumb coat get him cold again and then his head should be on good!

good luck!

I could be wrong but I think angel food would be too light and airy for this type of cake pan.

I have never even been brave enough to attempt a white cake with that pan. I don't doctor my mixes but I've never had a problem using Betty Crocker chocolate or yellow cake in my 3d pans.
