I was wondering if anyone has tried dipping oreo cookies into thinned royal icing? If so, how did they look and of course taste?

No have not tried it but would love to know how they turn out if you do attempt them.

You might have to dip and dry and dip to cover them good!

I've never dipped Oreos into RI, but I'm not sure I'd like it. I like the soft chocolate with the crunchy cookie. Plus the main reason you do it is for the addition of more chocolate!!! Have you had them this way before?

I would think the RI would make them very hard. I would much rather have them dipped in chocolate!
