I am making a penguin themed cake for my daughter's 2 nd birthday next month. I am just doing a square cake as the base and decorating the top with a lake, fondant penguins and an igloo made from fondant.

I was so excited about doing the igloo i think i rushed it too much.
Knowing nothing about fondant, decorating and all.. i found a glass bowl, put it upside down.. covered it with fondant and then started placing the "bricks" onto the fondant.. that all is going well.
BUT... now i'm thinking.. how am i going to get the fondant igloo off the glass bowl ?????
Will it stick (i'm guessing so) ?????

Worst comes to worst.. i'll leave the bowl in there and just place it on the cake as is i guess.

It might but I doubt it. Try pushing it off from the bottom up. It's already dried several hours from your post time so if it's going to come loose it will but still hold it's shape. If you can get it off carefully set it aside & cover the bowl w/plastic wrap, then replace the igloo. Work as quickly as you can....have the plastic wrap set out. Let it dry several days.
Did you use straight fondant? OR add GumTex or Tylose to it?
