Hello!

So I'm still experiementing with different icings and I have a batch of cream cheese icing it tastes fantastic but its super runny. Far to thin to ice with.
I was wondering if I add some melted white chocolate chips to the icing, will it help thicken it up? I'm sure it will taste good, I just don't want to start adding more sugar as i've got it to the right sweetness now.

Thanks for any help you can provide icon_smile.gif

If you add melted white chocolate chips it will add sugar as well, since those have sugar in them. The way I see it, you can add powdered sugar if you want to salvage it, or you can make the batch over and not beat it too much. The only other thing I can think of is to add cocoa powder and make it a chocolate cream cheese frosting.

Cream cheese frosting definitely has a point where it gets too runny if beaten too hard or fast. You have to mix it slowly and gently.
