I bake cakes for family and friends. I would like to invest in a few basic fondant tools. I'm asking you as experts, what tools do you consider your have to have tools? I definitely want a five petal rose cutter, but they offer many sizes. I there a basic size that could be used for most cakes.

I like the JEM 90 mm size better than the rest.

I also want the large 110 mm I think... and the next to the smallest. For a sm, med, large variety rose.

Believe it or not I actually took a 5 petal flower piece of clipart and traced it on card stock and cut it out. Played with the template and made myself a rose like that.

But I prefer the cutter.
