I have been asked to create a Morgan Stanley racecar cake however I have looked it up on the internet and it is a very hard shape to create. It is almost the same as the chitty chitty bang bang car. I would preferably like to make it a 3D cake however Im havin problems working out how I would keep the middle of the cake up. I thought maybe a perspex block of some kind but I dont know if this would work. I would like the car to be raised and just the wheels touching as I think that if it wasnt then the whole image of the cake would change and it would end up looking like a more modern car (lower to the ground!). If anyone has any ideas on how I could make this successful please could you let me know, it would be much appreciated, thanks, Anna.
