I don't refrigerate my fondant cakes but so far I have only used buttercream filling. I have a sleave of Key Lime and one of Bavarian Cream filling and I want to use it but I need to travel with the cake. If I use the filling do I need to refrigerate the cake? The sleaves of filling aren't refrigerated but I don't know if they have to be refrigerated once opened. Thank you!

I believe the sleeve fillings do not require refrigeration. Products that do require it once opened generally say so on the label somewhere.

Your cake(s) will be just fine when you use those fillings.
It is best to refrig any leftover filling. For yrs I didn't know that and didn't until the health dept said I needed to icon_smile.gif
