im doing a large 3 tier castle cake (100servings) with about 12 spires on it. my concern is the delivery, its going to weigh a ton, and ill either use the stress free supports or the sps so taking it fully assembled doesn;t worry me. what does is the spires. will they stay up? anyone delivered a fully assembled castle cake before? what did you learn? what should i not do? aprreciate it. icon_smile.gif

I've done 2 castle cakes now. The first I delivered completely assembled and only had one of the spires break. Had to do a quick repair job at the site. The next one I decided to assemble at the venue and it was much easier and less stressful. It only took me about 15 minutes to do it and was well worth it b/c then I didn't stress about it breaking apart in transit.
Hope that helps icon_biggrin.gif
