I've only made MMF and Michele Foster fondant, never anything chocolate. Is chocolate fondant actually good? What does it taste like? What is the best kind?

Thanks!

I used the recipe in the Cake Bible- it tastes like tootsie rolls only softer. Everyone loved it.

You can add about 1 cup of chocolate chips to the cooking process of MFF. You will probably use less powdered sugar than with the vanilla recipe. If you want it darker, then add some brown food coloring.

Personally, I think it tastes great! icon_smile.gif

Sorry for my late thanks! Thank you so much for the responses. I think I will give this a try. Michele, thanks especially for your response since yours is the fondant I make and love the most!! I'm glad to know how to just modify it like that. Can't wait to try it!
