Does anyone know how much frosting Shirley's IMBC makes. I am make my nephew's 1 yr b-day cake. The main cake will be 8x8 square, then I will make a 6" round smash cake. Both cakes will be 2 layers.
Can I double the recipe in my 41/2 quart mixer?
I honestly can't remember which IMBC recipe I used to use- I think it was Sylvia Weinstock's, but I don't remember if I cut it in 1/2. I thought Shirley's sounded good so I'll give it try.
